Pursuing the Purpose

Inspiration

Being a teacher in today's world is HARD. It's one of the most rewarding yet challenging professions out there, and at times we find ourselves struggling to process, understand and keep going during and after our work days. Through the realities of political agendas, professional stereotypes, global upheavals and the fight for representation, our teaching shoulders may feel heavy and burdened with more than we should have to handle. I myself find teaching a challenge and an emotional rollercoaster, and I've benefitted from seeking out ways to lighten the load from the weight I carry myself. With that said, I felt compelled to share my voice with others regarding the profession I've dedicated myself to serving.

Mission

We as humans naturally seek out others that can understand our perspective and our frustrations. We don't just want that connection, we crave it and need it to function. This couldn't be more true in the education profession. In this educator space, I hope to provide you with a connection, a space of empathy, a listening ear and a sounding board. I hope you find answers to questions you seek, tips to help guide you and a reminder about why you pursued teaching in the first place.
